About this event
How can a pattern welcome someone? We’ll explore Diwali, the festival of lights, and discover
rangoli designs associated with welcome and good fortune. Drawing from flowers, seeds, and
leaves, children will experiment with repetition, symmetry, and color. We’ll create a collective
temporary design, make small clay holders for LED lights, and share our own words of
welcome.
