About this event
Long a tradition in Mexican communities, tamales are a cherished part of celebrations and gatherings. This December, Cantina Laredo is bringing the time-honored tradition to life with a series of hands-on tamaladas designed to bring guests together for an evening of food, learning and holiday fun.
Led by Chef Rambo Sauceado, the classes will teach guests the art of making beef and chicken tamales from start to finish. Participants will learn traditional techniques, enjoy time around the kitchen table and leave with dozens of tamales of their own to share at home during the holiday season.
In addition to hands-on instruction, guests will be treated to a curated selection of cocktails and light bites, along with tequila education from an expert. The tamaladas will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1 and Dec. 15 at Cantina Laredo in Frisco. Tickets are $84.99 per person, and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant directly.
For groups looking for a more personalized experience, Cantina Laredo also offers private tamale classes for parties of 20 to 30 guests. Ideal for families, corporate gatherings, celebrations and other special occasions, private groups can book the entire class for an interactive evening of hands-on tamale making.
