WEEKEND CAMPING- Registration open October 26th-November 9th

Join us to explore 4,000 acres of Texas’s newest state park just outside DFW to check out its special collection of rock formations, plants, animals and habitats.

Leaving early on Saturday, we will drive together as a group from Denton to Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, Texas. We’ll set up camp and spend the weekend hiking and learning the basics of camping. We’ll return to UNT by early Sunday evening.

Upon registering for this trip, you will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting on November 10th from 7:00pm – 8:00pm . Here you will meet your trip leaders and fellow participants, receive more in-depth information about the trip and what to bring, and provide our staff with medical and emergency contact information.
