- ➤ Applications for the Texas Education Freedom Accounts voucher program open Feb. 4. Families of special needs students who submit their IEP on time will be eligible for up to $30,000 to help cover private school expenses plus tuition, though missing the deadline may reduce the aid to $20,000. Grand Opening - Gene H. Fuhrman Memorial Telecommunications Education Center
UNT will honor the memory of Gene Fuhrman, NTSU 1986, with a short ceremony to open an exhibit in his honor. The exhibit commemorates the work of Gene and his parents in developing Muenster Telephone Co. into one of the finest rural telecommunications companies in the the USA, and show cases the evolution of telecommunications technology.
