On Tuesday night, Denton City Council approved amendments to ease restrictions for backyard casitas and townhomes, a move aimed at increasing affordable housing (the missing middle) in the city.
Texas Rangers players will appear at a Kroger in Argyle on Jan.
21 with infielders Josh Jung and Jake Burger, and at a Kroger in Lewisville on Jan. 23 with pitchers Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker; exact times and locations will be announced on the Rangers website.

Grand Opening - Gene H. Fuhrman Memorial Telecommunications Education Center
UNT will honor the memory of Gene Fuhrman, NTSU 1986, with a short ceremony to open an exhibit in his honor. The exhibit commemorates the work of Gene and his parents in developing Muenster Telephone Co. into one of the finest rural telecommunications companies in the the USA, and show cases the evolution of telecommunications technology.
