Researchers at the University of North Texas and Texas A and M Transportation Institute are using a $400K grant to develop an AI system that spots road hazards.
The two-year project will link to TXDOT's 3,500 cameras to speed hazard detection this summer.

Grand Opening - Gene H. Fuhrman Memorial Telecommunications Education Center
UNT will honor the memory of Gene Fuhrman, NTSU 1986, with a short ceremony to open an exhibit in his honor. The exhibit commemorates the work of Gene and his parents in developing Muenster Telephone Co. into one of the finest rural telecommunications companies in the the USA, and show cases the evolution of telecommunications technology.
