Denton Natatorium will close from February 9 to March 22 for essential repairs (upgrading the pump room, roof, pool deck, and pool shells) as it prepares to serve the community better, with plans to reopen in late March.

Denton is celebrating literacy with the month-long READiculous Book Palooza in February, featuring workshops, readings, and movie screenings at local venues, and it culminates on February 28 at a multi-venue gathering.

Grand Opening - Gene H. Fuhrman Memorial Telecommunications Education Center

UNT will honor the memory of Gene Fuhrman, NTSU 1986, with a short ceremony to open an exhibit in his honor. The exhibit commemorates the work of Gene and his parents in developing Muenster Telephone Co. into one of the finest rural telecommunications companies in the the USA, and show cases the evolution of telecommunications technology.
