EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The TEA advised school leaders to cancel or redirect events about Cesar Chavez ahead of March 31 + update lesson plans to meet TEKS rules after Gov. Abbott’s order. NBC 5
- ➤ University of North Texas announced on Thursday that it will close or merge numerous degree, minor and certificate programs to address a $45 million deficit from lower international enrollment. Current students will complete their studies, but new enrollment in these programs is now halted. KERA
