On March 27, the Department of Justice opened an investigation into the university for alleged antisemitism & the university said it is fully cooperating.
The probe is part of a series of federal reviews that include a Title VI inquiry into its graduate programs & a local lawmaker’s call to remove a controversial art exhibit.
🏥 Health
Federal officials announced today that they will claw back $11.4 billion in COVID funds, forcing Denton County Public Health to cut six positions in nursing, community health and epidemiology.
Local health leaders say the funding loss may slow disease investigations and vaccination efforts as they work to secure alternative funding.
