- ➤ ICE deported Venezuelan migrant Neri Jose Alvarado Borges from Lewisville after he was arrested on Feb. 24 and an immigration judge issued a final order of removal on March 5 — his autism awareness tattoo was cited as evidence of gang ties even though his family said he was no criminal — and he is now held in a notorious mega prison in El Salvador. - ➤ Texas lawmakers will debate HB2 on Wednesday in Austin—a school funding bill that seeks to provide more money for teacher training, a longer school year, and pre-kindergarten programs.
