- ➤ After the Economic Development Partnership Board recommended $900,000 in incentives for AI firm KrateoSky, the City Council will vote Tuesday night on the proposal. The company plans to lease a 167,874 sqft building at 288/380 Logistics Park to create 258 jobs and 317 spin-off roles in Denton. KERA
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Denton ISD school board candidates include education veteran Vicki Byrd+business and education expert Greg Petolick vying for Place 6, while community leader Anita Martinez-Strickland runs unopposed for Place 7; early voting begins April 20 for the May 2 election. KERA
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bartonville Store owner Tim House is pushing for a sewer connection that could add parking, remove sewage odor and let his restaurant open extra days. He will hold a community event Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and raise the issue at Tuesday’s Town Council meeting. Cross Timbers Gazette
- ➤ Flower Mound's new fire station and community center got planning approval Monday to relocate to the corner of Canyon Falls Road and Denton Creek Blvd. It will serve firefighting, police, and community needs (pending contractor approval on May 4) with construction starting in June and finishing by October 2027.
