CRIME NEWS

  • On Monday morning, Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell was stabbed at her home leaving her critically injured and her husband dead when suspect Mitchell Blake Reinacher (the victims' grandson) broke in shortly before 4 a.m. and stabbed them with a 6-inch serrated steak knife; he remains in custody on charges of murder and aggravated assault.  Cross Timbers Gazette
  • On April 21, Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell was critically injured from stab wounds while her husband died, and police reported her grandson, Mitchell Reinacher, attacked their Lewisville home with a knife & now remains in jail on a $600,000 bond.  NBC 5
  • Tributes poured in as Denton County Commissioner Bobbie Mitchell, 76, was hospitalized after being stabbed on April 21 at her Lewisville home and her 75-year-old husband died soon after, while police arrested their 23-year-old grandson—who faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon—after a 911 call reported the attack before 4 a.m. Monday.  The Dallas Morning News
