- ➤ A Lewisville police affidavit alleges that county commissioner Bobbie Mitchell’s grandson—23-year-old Mitchell Blake Reinacher—broke into the home on Springwood Drive early Monday, stabbed Bobbie and her husband Fred, and faces charges of murder and aggravated assault. KERA

- ➤ Texans will save on emergency supplies during the tax-free holiday from Saturday, April 26 through Monday, April 28—eligible products include generators under $3,000, emergency ladders and hurricane shutters under $300, and various supplies under $75 while items like face masks and cleaning supplies are not covered.
