- ➤ Three high school students from Flower Mound and Lewisville won the 2026 Congressional Art Competition on the theme 'Celebrating 250 Years of America,' and their artwork will be displayed in Congressman Brandon Gill's offices for one year (one winner will attend a national exhibit on June 25). - ➤ Faculty and alumni at UNT’s Mayborn School of Journalism raised questions about the merger into the School of Communication, Media & Writing during a March 30 Q&A, expressing uncertainty over the retention of the Mayborn name.
