SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ UNT athletics has unveiled a strategic plan targeting competitive success, facility upgrades, and fan engagement over the next four years. The plan calls for breaking ground today for phase one of its athletic center expansion and fundraising for phase two through December 2028 to upgrade DATCU Stadium and Lovelace Stadium. KERA
- ➤ UNT's stadium for women's soccer & track was renamed in honor of alumna Norma Hunt with bright green letters and a plaque added in recent months. University officials confirmed during the March 25 ceremony that the renaming did not include a financial gift from the Hunt family. KERA
