- ➤ On Thursday, researchers from AMNH, Perot Museum, and SMU announced that 80-million-year-old fossils found in North Texas reveal a giant mosasaur dubbed T. rex that once ruled ancient seas; the holotype is on display at the Perot Museum (near Lake Ray Hubbard east of Dallas). NBC 5
- ➤ Denton’s The Shed Show (hosted by Jillian Wendel) will feature the exhibition 'VerMen' from May 23 to June 14 at 810 W Congress St. with an opening reception from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. showcasing local artists’ creative displays in a backyard shed. KERA
