On Thursday, researchers from AMNH, Perot Museum, and SMU announced that 80-million-year-old fossils found in North Texas reveal a giant mosasaur dubbed T. rex that once ruled ancient seas; the holotype is on display at the Perot Museum (near Lake Ray Hubbard east of Dallas).

Denton’s The Shed Show (hosted by Jillian Wendel) will feature the exhibition 'VerMen' from May 23 to June 14 at 810 W Congress St. with an opening reception from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. showcasing local artists’ creative displays in a backyard shed.
