Denton County Emergency Services District No. 1 & 2 was honored with the Guardian Award from BEST EMS after its crews saved a father in January by acting fast with CPR, defibrillation & advanced care, allowing him to celebrate Father’s Day with family.

Denton artist David Bayon turns local legends like The PriceMaster and Bonsai Tree Lady into custom action figures using 3-D printing.

His work, including collaborations with local rappers for upcoming album releases, celebrates Denton’s unique culture.

Momma Won’t Die, a dark comedy play based on true stories across three generations, runs through June 28 at Bryant Hall (Kalita Humphreys campus).
