North Texas animal advocates are helping flood-hit shelters in Central Texas by flying nearly 200 adoptable cats and dogs from the Hill Country to Meacham Airport this morning so shelters can make space for incoming pets.
A flight that landed in Fort Worth Wednesday unloaded 10 to 20 animals for foster care — another flight is scheduled for today to pick up more pets from San Angelo.
