- ➤ Following an investigation into the Dec. 3 death of Mark Saltsman on N. Wood Street, Denton Police arrested the Krum man George Howard Cook II (45) for murder and narcotics charges, and he is now held in the City of Denton Jail. City of Denton
- ➤ Pamela Stanley was indicted on July 11 by a Parker County grand jury for allegedly plotting to murder her ex-husband Jeffrey Kauth by picking up fentanyl in Weatherford on May 30—she planned to mail him poisoned chocolates disguised as a congratulatory gift—and she faces charges including criminal solicitation and attempted murder.
