Argyle ISD appointed experienced trustee Sam Slaton to fill the vacant Place 7 seat on Monday — his return will provide continuity until voters select a new member in May 2027.
Board members said his nine years of service support the district’s future plans.
🏥 Health
Lewisville sprayed the area around the 900 block of Rachels Court yesterday at 9 p.m. after a mosquito trap tested positive for West Nile Virus, and trucks from Vector Disease Control International will spray today at 9 p.m. using EPA-registered insecticides (weather permitting).
