CASA of Denton County urgently needs volunteer advocates to support 93 children waiting for care as students return to school.
Community members can sign up online or contact Volunteer Recruiter Bethany Hartung (via email) for training and ongoing support.
🎭 Culture
The Pony, a new restaurant and pottery bar blending Italian flair with art and community, is set to open soon in Denton.
It will offer Italian-inspired food, live music and an art station (where guests can create pottery) for a unique cultural twist.
🏈 Sports
Two North Texas brothers made history in the men’s College World Series in Omaha when Kolby hit a home run and he and Kyle shared a memorable high five that showed their strong bond.
Kolby was later drafted by the Texas Rangers.
