- ➤ Frisco police arrested 28-year-old Ryan Jackson—accused of fatally stabbing his mother, Marie Placide-Jackson, with multiple wounds inside her Valencia Drive home after a 911 call around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday—and the investigation remains active. CBS Texas
- ➤ A former teacher from Donald Elementary, Andrew James McGann, was arrested on Wednesday in Arkansas and charged with capital murder for fatally stabbing a couple who were hiking with their two daughters at Devil’s Den State Park (he is held without bond). NBC 5
