- ➤ Southwest Airlines announced it will change its refund policy for plus size passengers who purchase two seats. Effective Jan. 27, customers can request a refund only if they meet three conditions+ the airline will also implement assigned seating on all flights. NBC 5
- ➤ White Castle said it will build its first Texas restaurant in Denton County at the Grandscape in The Colony near the Destination Drive and Grandscape Boulevard intersection. - ➤ Denton County will begin a $40 million micro breakout project at the I-35W interchange on FM 407 in early 2026 to ease heavy traffic by moving guardrails back to create five lanes—extended turn lanes will be added and work is expected to finish in 8-9 months. Cross Timbers Gazette
