  • On Saturday from 8:30 to 11 a.m., the 19th annual Touched by Suicide Memorial Walk will be held at Heritage Park Amphitheater in Flower Mound—organizers say the event gives free support to families and friends who have lost loved ones.  Cross Timbers Gazette

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Gov. Greg Abbott issued an Executive Order banning sales of THC products to anyone under 21 after negotiations with lawmakers failed. The order requires government-issued ID for sales and will increase state enforcement — officials say the measure is meant to protect children.  CBS Texas

  • Week 4 Texas high school football rankings show that four DFW-area teams have earned top spots in their divisions—rankings from Dave Campbell's Texas Football and TexasFootball.com cover games from Sept. 15 to 21 and highlight unbeaten teams like Southlake Carroll.
