  • On Sept. 16, 2025, the Denton City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2026 budget and fee schedule which sets a total budget of $2.55 billion and a property tax rate of $0.595 per $100 valuation— the fee schedule for services like parks, public safety and special events will take effect on Oct. 1.  City of Denton
