- ➤ UNT alum Samuel Holsomback and his wife Avery had a surprise when their baby, Evelyn, arrived 10 days early during a sold-out game day — they left DATCU Stadium and missed the match as the team fell to South Florida. - ➤ TWU Theatre, led by Professor Patrick Bynane (director), began a fresh production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town on October 14 at Redbud Theater. The minimalist show uses simple sets to capture Wilder's themes and will continue with more performances, with tickets costing $10 for adults (and $5 for students, children and seniors). EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Grayson College and UNT have announced a new partnership to ease student transfers, allowing eligible graduates with a 3.0 or higher to receive a $500 bonus and support through the Eagle Bound Program. Grayson students will be invited to meet UNT counselors at Transfer Express — scheduled for November 11 at Grayson College. Voice of Denton
