On Oct.16, students gathered on campus to protest in support of democracy and free speech—holding signs and chanting as they marched near Willis Library.

Organized by Orion Baldridge, the protest began at 10:30 a.m. and lasted 20 minutes—marking an early event before the nationwide protest on Oct.18.
