- ➤ UNT students attended the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival in downtown Toronto as part of the UNT GIO Program offered by the Study Abroad Office—joining exclusive film screenings, panels, master classes, and red-carpet events. - ➤ Denton ISD will ask voters to approve Proposition A—a 5-cent tax rate increase on Nov. 4—that could add $26 million in funding to help fix a $15 million deficit, fill 250 open positions, and address rising class sizes. The new funds are set to boost teacher salaries, school safety, and enrichment programs amid growing staffing challenges. KERA
