Local organizations continue to support families as lawmakers work to end the shutdown and restore full assistance.
DFW and Love Field airports are seeing longer TSA lines as many workers remain unpaid over 30 days amid the federal shutdown — wait times at DFW Terminal D have exceeded 20 minutes and Love Field has reported 72-minute flight delays.
TSA union leaders warned the delays could worsen if the shutdown continues, urging travelers to plan ahead.
