The City of Denton is promoting its Recycle Right initiative and will host Texas Recycles Day at Guyer High School on November 15 from 9 a.m. to noon, where residents can drop off items for recycling and learn how to sort materials correctly.

Residents using curbside recycling can also qualify for a free in-home recycling bin by taking the Master Recycler quiz online.

City leaders in Dallas are working to improve bike safety by approving a new Bike Plan and allocating millions from federal and bond funds to add more protected bike lanes in Dallas, Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties—advocates say the changes aim to address rising safety concerns as bike fatalities have increased.
