  • Interfaith Ministries is providing weather kits and financial assistance for utility bills as part of its Sharing the Warmth initiative this winter in Denton and nearby communities — it partners with Atmos Energy, which contributed over $100,000 to meet rising demand despite local housing challenges.  North Texas Daily
  • The Town of Argyle and PointBank are working on a new 1.3-acre park named Point Bank Wallace Lynch Park along Hwy 377. The park will include a fenced playground and designated parking designed to preserve historic cross timbers (a nod to local heritage) and enhance visitor safety.  Cross Timbers Gazette

  • Tariffs on fake trees could raise prices by up to 20%, prompting more shoppers to choose live trees. Owner Kevin Keck of Santa's Christmas Trees in Grapevine said his U.S.-grown trees are unaffected + he is welcoming many new customers this season.  NBC 5
