WHO IT HELPS The money raised goes to Communities In Schools of North Texas. They place trusted adults inside schools to connect students with food, mental health support, help with schoolwork, or simply someone to talk to, so they can stay in school and graduate. Extra donations are welcome.

WHY I'M HOSTING IT I'm Sandy, and I run Rooted, where I offer sound baths, meditation and guided rest. This is my birthday fundraiser. I grew up on the campus of one of the top engineering universities in India, where my dad was a professor, so I had access to a good education without ever having to think about how to get it. I believe every child deserves access to a good education and the support to make the most of it.
