The Business of Running a Pug Rescue Nonprofit Organization

About this event

Thirty years ago, Fred Campos founded one of the nation's longest-running breed-specific rescue organizations, DFW Pug Rescue Club, Inc. Mr. Campos will present on the history of DFW Pug Rescue, and the challenges of building and sustaining a nonprofit organization. He will also discuss how his many years of experience with the rescue have taught him valuable business lessons to share with new business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Mr. Campos will have copies of his book, Built by Heart: Lessons in Creating a Mission-Driven Organization Without a Map, a Budget, or a Safety Net, on-hand for those interested in acquiring a copy after the presentation. For those in attendance, be on the lookout for a few four-legged visitors. https://www.grapevinetexas.gov/calendar.aspx?EID=17854
