The Pony Presents: Greyhounds | J. Isaiah Evans & The Boss Tweed

About this event

Greyhounds | Greyhounds is an Austin, Texas band blending blues, soul, R&B, jazz, rock and roll, and country into a gritty, deeply groove-driven sound. Rising out of the Austin scene, the group is anchored by guitarist/vocalist Andrew Trube and keyboardist/vocalist Anthony Farrell, whose long-running partnership has defined the band’s identity.

J. Isaiah Evans & The Boss Tweed | J. Isaiah Evans is a native of Dallas, Texas best known as the founder and front man of roots rock and roll band, The 40 Acre Mule. Known for loud, high energy live shows, The 40 Acre Mule gained a devout following with fans all over the world. But there’s always room for something different. Enter J. Isaiah Evans & The Boss Tweed! A fan of organ driven bands such as Booker T. and the M.G.’s and the Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, he’s forged a new path with a band that puts keys front and center of Americana rock creating what he calls "Garageicana Rock-N-Roll".
