Our latest gallery exhibition is 'For the Joy of It All' , an exploration in doing what brings us joy by local artist Fielder Whittington .

Embedded in the pathos of Bob Ross's 'The Joys of Painting,' this exhibition explores what happens when you do something for the joy of it alone. The collection was born out of watching sunsets and moonrises and wanting to recreate the intimacy of these events that are overlooked in our daily lives. In a world where our attention is always competed for, Fielder hopes these pieces will serve as a reminder to slow down and take time to do these things because they bring us to a place of true contentment.

Fielder Whittington is a self-taught artist focusing in music, sculpture and traditional media. His practice explores the intersections of isolation and marriage, extinction and creation, and joy and suffering. All art will be offered to patrons for free through the process of filling out a confidential application available at the show. Please note: the artist reserves the sole right to assign pieces based on responses, and some responses may be shared, but all identities will remain anonymous.
